The NBA Playoffs are back in action Monday night!

The Celtics and Thunder hold respective 2-1 series leads and are looking to boast a commanding edge by the time these contests wrap up tonight. On the other side, the Cavaliers and Mavericks are looking to even things up.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics — Game 4

Jayson Tatum 10+ Rebounds (-155)

Much had been made of Tatum’s lackluster start to the postseason from a scoring perspective prior to Game 3 of this series, in which he dominated with 33 points. However, outside of the obvious shooting slump, I believe Tatum has done the “little things” quite well.

Passing out of double and triple teams, defending with intensity, and above all else, rebounding. That one isn’t quite so “little”, as the Celtics have needed all the help they can get on the glass with Kristaps Porzingis sidelined.

Tatum has been a monster on the boards all year long and that has translated to playoff production. The superstar has racked up at least 11 rebounds in five of his last six matchups, including 13 on Saturday.

Jarrett Allen’s availablity is still up in the air as of Monday morning. Personally, I would be surprised if he suits up, but even if he does, Cleveland’s big man will be very limited. Tatum should keep his hot streak on the boards rolling tonight.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder — Game 4

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 38.5 Points + Rebounds (-105)

I’m rolling with a somewhat rare combo prop for this matchup.

I don’t highlight these types of picks often in articles unless I feel there’s a specific edge in one of the markets. That’s exactly the case with SGA’s rebounds tonight.

Gilgeous-Alexander’s line is set at 7.5 at plus-money on DraftKings Sportsbook, so there’s plenty of value with taking his boards alone. The 6’6 combo guard only averaged 5.5 on the season, but he’s been incredibly productive on the glass as of late. Dating back to Game 4 against the Pelicans, Shai has racked up at least nine rebounds in four straight matchups.

Out of the four big offensive weapons in this series, Gilgeous-Alexander has been by far the most successful, scoring at least 29 points in every contest. He’s more than capable of going off for 40 at any time, which is why I feel comfortable taking the over on this combo prop. Shai’s scoring production should at least get him in range, and if his recent rebounding prowess continues, the superstar could go well over this total.

Those are my favorite NBA player props for Monday’s slate! Stay tuned for more picks later this week.
