The second round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs will continue on Monday and the slate will close with the Oklahoma City Thunder visiting the Dallas Mavericks for Game 4 of their best-of-seven series. Tipoff for this Western Conference showdown is set for 9:30 p.m. ET and the game will air on TNT.
Here’s a look at some of our favorite player prop bets to target for Game 4 Monday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
P.J. Washington over 15.5 points (+110)
Washington has been front and center as a surprise difference maker for the Mavericks these last two games. He’s led the team in scoring in both of their victories, dropping 29 points in Game 3 before delivering 27 points in Game 4. The veteran has been Dallas’ primary threat from three in those games and I don’t see why they wouldn’t keep feeding him if he’s hot. I’m hammering the over on his point total.
Luka Doncic over 1.5 steals (+114)
Doncic has had a nice sleight of hand so far in this series, averaging 2.3 steals per game. Him getting multiple steals in Game 4 feels like a layup, so I’m hammering the over on his steal total for tonight.
Chet Holmgren over 8.5 rebounds (+110)
Holmgren has been kind of quiet in this series so far, averaging just 14.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. Where OKC these past two games is on the defensive glass as Dallas has created numerous second-chance opportunities by being +13 in offensive rebounding. The Thunder needs the 7’1” rookie to step up down low to prevent this and I think he’ll answer the bell and come down with double-digit boards tonight.
Josh Giddey under 0.5 threes (+105)
Giddey has been a non-factor and is averaging only 13.7 minutes per game as a starter in this series. For comparison’s sake, the other four OKC starters are all averaging at least 32 minutes, so its telling one of them can barely stay on the floor for a full quarter. He is just 1-8 from three through three games, a steep dropoff from their first-round series against the Pelicans where he was deadly from downtown. I’ll predict that he puts up another goose egg in the three column as backup guards like Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe continue to eat up his minutes.
