Aaron Judge vs. Tampa Bay Rays (+195)
Judge is starting to heat up at the plate and will have a chance to continue his tear when facing the Rays this afternoon. The former AL MVP has smashed three homers in his last five games while posting a .412 batting average during that stretch. He’ll go up against Tampa Bay starter Zack Littell, who has struggled against righties this year with splits of .322/2 HR/7 RBI. It wouldn’t be a shock to see Judge take him deep early in this AL East showdown.
Jose Ramirez vs. Chicago White Sox (+370)
Ramirez has been on fire at the plate over the last week as he’s blasted four home runs and eight RBI with a .348 batting average and a 1.288 OPS over his last six games for the Guardians. Two of those homers have come in the first two games of this four-game set against the White Sox and he’ll try to make it three in a row when going up against Sox starter Mike Clevinger. Considering that Clevinger is coming off a woeful season debut against the Rays this past Monday, I’ll wager on Ramirez going deep again this evening.
Nolan Arenado vs. Milwaukee Brewers (+550)
Arenado has only launched two dingers so far this season, but that could change when going up against Milwaukee starter Freddy Peralta. Peralta has been supurb for the Brew Crew with a 3.49 ERA and a sub-1.00 WHIP this year, but he has individually struggled against Arenado for his career. The eight-time All-Star is batting .357 for his career against Peralta and has taken him deep four times, so I’ll predict that he goes yard tonight.
