Donovan Edwards, Quinn Ewers, Travis Hunter on EA Sports College Football 25 Deluxe Edition

The last EA Sports college football video game was released on July 9, 2013. NCAA Football 14 was the last installment of the franchise due to players rightfully wanting to be compensated for their name and likeness and the NCAA not complying. When the new NIL regulations went into effect a few years ago, the first question was “when do we get a new college football video game?”

While we still don’t have an official release date — although mid-July is the current speculation — EA Sports did release the cover for the game’s Deluxe Edition. This version will likely come with an earlier release date and maybe some in-game currency or packs similar to what the company does with its yearly Madden release.

While the cover features several college football players representing schools across the country, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Michigan RB Donovan Edwards and Colorado utility man Travis Hunter are pictured in the forefront.
