The Colorado Rockies own the worst win percentage in the National League with an 8-26 record and will look to improve that mark on Tuesday when they host the San Francisco Giants.

The Rockies offense enters the series 26th in run production with just over 3.6 runs per game with an uncharacteristically low amount of run production at home this season with 4.15 runs per game at home this season.
Much of the problem the Rockies had this season is simply the roster itself being sub-standard, but even with lots of inclement weather in Colorado to begin the season, the team has still been a far better offense at home, with a .251 batting average at home with nearly a home run per game compared to 0.7 home runs per game and a .222 road batting average.
Both teams enter this series with trouble in the bullpen as San Francisco ranked 27th in the league with a 5.11 ERA from the bullpen while the Rockies entered 28th with a 5.15 ERA.
Kyle Harrison will look to take some of the pressure off the Giants bullpen as he gets the start for San Francisco and will look to improve on his glaring home and road splits.
Harrison owns a 2.97 ERA with 10.7 strikeouts and 0.7 home runs per nine innings allowed in his seven career appearances at home compared to a 4.95 ERA with 7.4 strikeouts and 2.5 home runs per nine innings allowed in his seven career road appearances.
The Giants lineup is looking for a kickstart as they entered Monday 23rd in the league in runs per game, but have performed far better at the plate on the road than at home, entering Monday averaging more than four runs per game on the road compared to under 3.4 runs per game at home.
Dakota Hudson gets the start on the mound for Colorado and enters in poor form, posting a 5.93 ERA with 5.3 strikeouts and five walks per nine innings and having allowed at least three runs in four of his past five starts.
With Hudson’s ERA spiking to 8.78 at home with just 13 1/3 innings completed in his three home starts this season, these two struggling offenses will erupt on Monday.
