The dust has settled on the 2024 NFL Draft. This year’s rookie class has landed with their respective teams as roster spots are still being filled little by little with summer workout programs on the horizon. Even though the regular season is still four months away, best ball drafts are up and running.
If you are new to fantasy football or simply missing the rush of drafting, best ball may scratch that itch through the summer. No lineup care is required as you draft a deep roster, and the best starting lineup is automatically applied each week of the regular season. You check back in at the end of the year and see how your team did.
As you get into your best ball drafts, here is our ranking for the top 314 players.
2024 best ball rankings: Top 314 players
Another season, another year of Christian McCaffrey being the most valuable player in fantasy football. He finished 2023 with 1,459 rushing yards with 14 touchdowns. CMC added 564 receiving yards and seven additional touchdowns through the air. Outside of being another year older, there haven’t been any big enough changes to suggest he isn’t deserving of being the top pick.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has the chance to make himself a lot of money in 2024. He will be without Kirk Cousins as Minnesota turns to either Sam Darnold or rookie J.J. McCarthy under center. Jefferson dealt with injuries last season but remains the top wide receiver in the league, even with the uncertainty at quarterback.
A change in head coach in Atlanta has position players Bijan Robinson and Kyle Pitts rising in rankings with the expectation that the new regime noticed the lack of consistent usage of two of the team’s best players. The quarterback upgrade to Kirk Cousins helps, as long as he doesn’t get any sort of suspension if the NFL determines the Falcons tampered with the free agent.
The tight end rankings may look off and that is because T.J. Hockenson is currently dropped way down from where he should be. The Vikings’ tight end is coming off a torn ACL, and it is undetermined when he will be ready to go this season. If news comes out that he will be ready for Week 1, Hockenson can be moved up. New York Giants tight end Darren Waller is mulling over retiring. He is ranked dead last because, for now, it seems like he is 50/50 between playing and retiring, so with your last pick, he is worth a selection. If he does officially retire, obviously don’t draft him.
