After a fun start to the week on Monday, Major League Baseball keeps the action pumping with eight great games on the main slate for Tuesday night. The contests begin at 7:05 p.m. ET on DraftKings and include two interleague matchups and just one divisional matchup from NL West. That game also is noteworthy since it will take place at Coors Field, which is always a haven for hitters.
Whether you’re targeting a Coors Field stack or another matchup you love, you might need some cheap plays with upside to round out your roster. Check out these three bargain plays that should be able to return strong value at low salaries and help you include the superstars you’re looking to build around in other spots.

SP Seth Lugo, Kansas City Royals vs. Milwaukee Brewers, $7,200
The Royals have started the season strong, going 21-15 in their first 36 games. Lugo has been an awesome free-agent addition to the rotation, going 5-1 in his first seven starts after joining the team on a relatively reasonable deal. So far, he has put together a 1.60 ERA and 3.45 FIP despite totaling only 31 strikeouts in 45 innings. In each of his last two starts, he finished over 31 DraftKings points by dominating the Tigers and the Blue Jays. Even though his overall strikeout numbers aren’t strong for the season, he had nine strikeouts in seven shutout innings in Detroit followed by eight more strikeouts in seven innings in Toronto. He has allowed more than two runs just once all season, and he has done a great job limiting damage. His one outlier came against the powerful Orioles, and the Brewers also have some power potential. However, even in a less-than-ideal matchup, Lugo is far too cheap given his recent production and how dominant he has been in the early part of this season. He has a good shot at a win as well, since he’ll go head-to-head with Colin Rea ($6,700) as the Royals try to make it two in a row over Milwaukee.
OF Sean Bouchard, Colorado Rockies vs. San Francisco Giants, $3,500
Bouchard is a great way to save salary and still get Coors Field exposure. Bouchard has been a regular in the lineup against lefties like Kyle Harrison ($6,400) and hit his first homer of the season on Sunday in his most recent appearance. In that game, he went 2-for-4 with six total bases and 21 DraftKings points and is now hitting .258 with a .371 wOBA in his 11 games in the majors. In the minors this year, Bouchard hit .315 with a .448 wOBA in 14 games to earn his shot with the Rockies. In his small sample size against lefties, he has gone 4-for-8 (.500) with four walks and a crazy .632 wOBA. Getting him in the homer-happy environs of Coors Field with a salary of only $3,500 is a great option to help round out your outfield this Tuesday.
1B Jon Singleton, Houston Astros at New York Yankees, $2,800
When the Astros sent José Abreu to the minors, many assumed Joey Loperfido ($2,900) would get most of the playing time at 1B, but it has actually been Singleton who has been very productive while getting increased opportunities. The 32-year-old Singleton has started six straight games and gone 6-for-20 (.300) with three home runs, eight RBI and a .452 wOBA. Singleton has a 47.4% hard-hit rate and 15.8% barrel rate over that span and is seeing the ball very well. He’ll be in a tough matchup against Luis Gil ($8,300), but the short right-field porch of Yankee Stadium will give him good power potential. While he can only fit at 1B, with a salary under $3,000 he can fit into many different roster builds and bring a high ceiling.
