The Mavericks secured a pivotal Game 5 victory Wednesday night in Los Angeles, taking a 3-2 series lead heading back to Dallas. In this article, I’m going to break down my favorite NBA player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 6 of Clippers-Mavericks. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Luka Doncic Over 32.5 Points (-135)
I highlighted this exact prop on Wednesday ahead of Game 5, and I’m going back to it tonight.
After a disappointing opening four games of the series, Doncic answered the bell in the pivotal fifth contest, dropping 35 points while shooting over 50% from the field for the first time since April 9. It’s also worth noting he did all of this while battling an illness.
That was Luka’s 18th (!!) playoff game against the Clippers. At just 25 years old, that’s an unfathomable amount of experience against one specific team in the postseason. Over the course of those 18 contests, he’s scored at least 33 points nine times.
Despite not scoring at his typical rate to open the series, Luka’s usage rate hasn’t really dipped, eclipsing 35% in three of the five games. Doncic is no stranger to big moments, and certainly understands the important of closing out the Clippers at home, especially after losing to them in both the 2020 and 2021 playoffs.
