Game 6 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers will take place Thursday evening with the road team attempting to get back home for Game 7 while the home side tries to finish off the series and advance to the second round. The Bucks are hoping to achieve the seemingly impossible as their stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard deal with injuries, while the Pacers look to recover from a poor showing in Game 5.
Here’s a look at some of our favorite player prop bets to target for Game 6 Thursday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Tyrese Haliburton under 10.5 assists (-148)
The Pacers point guard has been stellar at home this season, averaging 10.9 assists per game on the season. However, it’s clear his back spasms are having an impact. Haliburton has gone well under this line in each of the last two games, with 10 total assists across Games 4 and 5. Even with the return to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, I don’t think the guard is able to put up his usual assist numbers. I’d take the under here.
Khris Middleton over 22.5 points (+100)*
*previously over 26.5 points (-105)
Update: Middleton’s points prop is now 22.5 points (over +100, under -120) and I like the over. Lillard is in but Antetokounmpo has been ruled out.
Update: Lillard is planning on playing while Antetokounmpo is a game-time call but officially is doubtful. Middleton’s points prop hasn’t changed yet, but it could go down a bit once Lillard is officially in. I’d still back the over for the forward, who has been great for Milwaukee in this series.
Middleton’s status for the series appeared to be in jeopardy after an ankle injury he suffered in Game 2 but the forward put up 42 points in Game 3. He’s been on fire offensively with Antetokounmpo and Lillard sidelined, averaging 32 points per game over the last three contests. As long as the two stars are unable to suit up, I think Middleton continues to take on a huge load offensively for the Bucks. He should be able to go over this mark.
Brook Lopez over 1.5 blocks (-135)
Although Lopez might not be your typical rim protector, he’s been solid when it comes to registering blocks in this series. The Bucks big man has gone over this line three times in five games, and has registered at least one block in four of the five contests. He’s going to have to continue stepping up defensively, and I think the Pacers will give him plenty of opportunities to do so at the rim. He should be able to send back at least a couple shots in Game 6.
Pascal Siakam under 31.5 points + rebounds (-112)
Siakam started off the series on fire but has cooled off substantially since then. The Pacers forward is averaging 14 points and 7.3 rebounds per game over the last three contests, a far cry from his 36.5 points and 12 rebounds per game over the first two games. Even though Siakam certainly has the ability to break out, I think he stays under this line in Game 6 tonight.
