The NBA Playoffs are back in action Wednesday night!
The Mavericks almost pulled off an incredible comeback in Dallas a few days ago, but late-game heroics from James Harden ensured the Clippers held on to tie the series back up 2-2. Tonight, these squads head back to L.A. for a pivotal Game 5.
In this article, I’m going to break down my favorite NBA player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 5 of Clippers-Mavericks. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Luka Doncic Over 32.5 Points (-130)
Luka Doncic knows he needs to do more.
After another underwhelming performance in Game 4, the superstar acknowledged that he wasn’t pulling his weight.
Through the first four contests of this series, Luka hasn’t come close to shooting 50% from the field. Game 1: 11-26. Game 2: 11-26. Game 3: 7-25. Game 4: 10-24.
Simply put, it’s ugly right now. This is abnormal for Doncic, who has plenty of productive postseason experience. Despite being just 25 years old, the MVP candidate has already played a whopping 17 (!!!) playoff games against the Clippers alone. He’s gone over this total in eight of them, including some truly incredible performances.
On the bright side, despite Doncic’s recent inefficiency, he’s still hovered around this mark consistently, scoring 33, 32, and 29 in Games 1, 2 and 4. His usage rate eclipsed 37% in the first and third matchups. Pure volume is going to put him within striking distance of this over, he just needs to start hitting some shots.
In a pivotal Game 5, I believe he will.
This is a guy who has shown time and time again he shows up in the big moments. He also steps up away from home, having scored at least 33 points in four of his last five road playoff games against the Clippers. I expect that trend to continue Wednesday in Los Angeles.
