Teddy Ricketson’s 2024 MLB Player Prop record: 25-28-3
Sunday recap: Mookie Betts getting a hit in the leadoff spot felt like free money and it cashed. Jared Jones pitched five innings but struggled to sit down the San Francisco Giants and finished with only three strikeouts. Despite Austin Gomber being susceptible to walks, he pitched seven innings against the Houston Astros and didn’t allow any.
MLB player prop bets: Tuesday, April 30th
Reynaldo Lopez, 6+ strikeouts (-290)
Lopez has been a bright spot for the Atlanta pitching rotation. He heads into Tuesday’s matchup against the Seattle Mariners with a 2-0 record and a 0.72 ERA. The reliever-turned-starter has thrown at least six innings in each of his four appearances this season, striking out six in three of them. Lopez will face a Seattle lineup that struck out 12 times on Monday, seven to the starter Max Fried.
Luis Arraez, 1+ single (-225)
Despite playing for the struggling 6-24 Miami Marlins, Arraez has continued excelling as a hitter. He is batting .303 this season, which ranks in the top 30 among qualified hitters. Arraez has a three-game hitting streak and will face Colorado Rockies starter Ryan Feltner on Tuesday. He is 2-3 against Feltner is his career so far with two singles and should be able to add another in this series opener.
Andres Gimenez, over 0.5 hits (-225)
Gimenez is hitting .275 this season with no home runs and 15 RBI. He has back-to-back games with two hits, both singles. Gimenez has a great matchup against Houston Astros starting pitcher Hunter Brown. He enters with an 0-4 record and a 9.68 ERA, with left handed batters hitting .333 against him. Gimenez should be able to tally at least one hit.
