The 2024 NBA Playoffs continue Monday with three contests on tap. The Thunder and Nuggets have opportunities close out their respective series and join the Timberwolves in the second round, while the Celtics will try to set up a chance to close out their series against the Heat at home. Here’s a look at some of our favorite player props for the day, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Jayson Tatum over 9.5 rebounds vs. Heat (-105)
The Celtics forward has been up and down with his scoring, but he’s crashing the glass at an exceptional rate. He’s snagged double-digit rebounds in two of the three games so far in the series, and only got to eight in Game 2 likely because of Miami’s hot shooting night from behind the arc. Tatum should see enough opportunities to grab rebounds in Game 4 with the Heat likely to chuck at will as they face a 3-1 series deficit. I like him to get double-digit boards once again.
Brandon Ingram under 21.5 points vs. Thunder (-118)
At some point, Ingram is going to hit shots. He’s too talented to keep getting shut down, even with Lu Dort being an exceptional defender. Ingram got to 19 points in Game 3 but has gone under this line in every game of the series. The Thunder have matched Dort’s minutes with Ingram’s so there’s going to be no respite for the Pelicans forward. He’s simply going to have to figure it out. Unfortunately for him, I don’t think that happens in Game 4.
Michael Porter Jr. over 3.5 3-pointers vs. Lakers (+142)
Porter Jr. hasn’t let personal life drama seep onto the court, and the Nuggets have been better for it. The forward is shooting 44.1% from deep through four games and has gone over this line twice. He’s going back home for Game 5, where he shot 40.9% from deep during the season. Jamal Murray is likely going to be limited in some fashion if not ruled out due to an injury, which means Porter Jr. will have to be involved offensively. Given the way he’s shot the ball in this series, Denver should continue feeding him. I think he goes over this mark as Denver closes out the series.
