The Minnesota Timberwolves will go on the road to face the Phoenix Suns in the fourth game of this Western Conference first-round playoff matchup. Tipoff from the Footprint Center in Phoenix is set for 9:30 p.m. ET and will air on TNT. Minnesota leads the series 3-0 and can clinch the sweep and advance to the second round with a win.
The Timberwolves have a very light injury report heading into game day. Only small forward Kyle Anderson is questionable due to a hip injury. The Suns are also fairly healthy as shooting guard Grayson Allen is questionable with an ankle injury.
Minnesota is the 1-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. The Timberwolves are the -115 favorites, while the Suns are installed as the -105 underdogs. The point total is set at 212.5.
Timberwolves vs. Suns, 9:30 p.m. ET
Pick ATS: Timberwolves -1
Minnesota has dominated this series in the first three games, winning 120-95, 105-93 and 126-109. The T-Wolves found themselves in the middle of the pack when it came to covering against the spread. They covered in 51.8% of their games compared to the Suns, only covering in 42.2% of their games, the third-worst rate in the NBA. Minnesota has the momentum in this series and has already proved it can win a game on the road. The Timberwolves should cover and complete the sweep.
Over/Under: Over 212.5
The scoring for this series has been all over the place, and the three games so far have finished at 215, 198 and 235. Minnesota excelled at scoring points on the road this season, helping the over hit on point totals in 57.1% of its road games. Game 2 of this series feels like an outlier. The Timberwolves are coming in with momentum and the Suns have to step their game up to try and force Game 5, so I think the over hits in this one.
