With four Game 4s in the 2024 NBA Playoffs Sunday, there’s a few additional games for DFS managers to look at when it comes to finding value plays for their lineups.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Andrew Nembhard, Pacers, $4,400
Nembhard isn’t going to grab a lot of headlines but he made some clutch plays down the stretch in Game 3 for the Pacers. The guard is being trusted in crunch time and is being given plenty of run, which helps his usage rate. There’s a possibility this game turns into a blowout for Indiana with both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard set to miss out, which could potentially mean even more usage for Nembhard. He’s a strong add to any lineup at this price, having tallied 59.3 fantasy points over the last two games.
Norman Powell, Clippers, $4,600
Even if Kawhi Leonard does end up playing in this game, he’s likely to be limited in some fashion. Powell is a huge rotation piece for the Clippers, and they need him to provide scoring in the event Leonard is ineffective. The veteran wing tallied 30.5 fantasy points in Game 3 and should continue to get big minutes. Even though the Mavericks have improved defensively, they still rank 23rd in fantasy points allowed to opposing wings.
Naz Reid, Timberwolves, $4,400
Despite a relatively quiet performance from behind the arc, Reid managed to tally 18.3 fantasy points in Game 3. He hasn’t quite hit the production he had late in the regular season but this remains a favorable matchup for the Timberwolves backup big man. The Suns appear to be checked out and ready for the season to end, which should mean plenty of open looks for Reid and others. He has upside as a three-point threat and if he manages to hit a few more shots, his fantasy value with skyrocket. He’s a good addition at this price point.
