The Dallas Mavericks enter Game 4 of their first-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers with a 2-1 series lead, looking to create an even bigger advantage on their home floor Sunday. Update: As expected, Doncic is in for the Mavericks.
Doncic briefly stepped off the court to get his knee looked at but immediately came back into the game and didn’t show any signs of slowing down. He’s officially being listed as questionable but this just feels like needless gamesmanship from the Mavericks. Doncic has logged big minutes through injuries over the course of the season, and he’s certainly not about to let some minor soreness keep him out of Game 4.
If the event Doncic does sit or is limited in some way, Kyrie Irving would take over the primary creator offensively. Look for P.J. Washington to be more involved as well, especially with Tim Hardaway Jr. considered doubtful for the contest. Josh Green and Dante Exum would also see more run, but Irving and Washington are the biggest beneficiaries from a fantasy standpoint if Doncic is out.
