Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Clippers, $11,800 — The Mavs have the Clippers right where they want them. Doncic can put the dagger in the Clippers. His dagger has been missing. The superstar is not shooting well in this series. Despite the poor shooting, the Mavs are winning, and he’s averaging over 55 DKFP per game. His shot will return. When it does, he’ll hit 70 DKFP.
Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves at Phoenix Suns, $8,900 — It’s a tossup between Edwards and Jalen Brunson (9,400). The edge goes to Edwards. He’s cheaper and the game total is higher. Edwards has multi-position eligibility (SG/SF). Another significant factor is that Edwards is in the late game. Brunson locks as 1 p.m. ET. Edwards allows for late swap.
Value
Patrick Beverley, Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers, $5,300 — PG Damian Lillard ($9,300) was in a walking boot Saturday. He’s doubtful to play. This won’t increase Beverley’s minutes, but Lillard’s usage has to go somewhere. Beverley only needs a slight bump to be a good return on investment. SG Malik Beasley ($4,400) and PG/SG AJ Green ($3,700) have been irrelevant in this series, but they’re interesting punts if Lillard is out.
Forward
Studs
Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers. $7,900 — This is chasing or is it? Middleton was questionable to play Friday and proceeded to score 64 DKFP. Can he do it again? He scored 45 DKFP in Game 1. The Pacers present the best matchup in the playoffs. Indiana plays fast and their defense is weak.
Bobby Portis, Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers. $7,300 — This is not an attractive NBA DFS pick. Portis is unlikely to be the best performer on the slate. He won’t earn a top-5 DFS score. His ceiling is low but his floor is high. The Bucks need Portis’ height with Giannis Antetokounmpo out. Portis played 44 minutes in the Pacers’ OT loss on Friday.
Value
Aaron Nesmith, Indiana Pacers vs. Milwaukee Bucks, $5,200 — The Bucks’ injuries do not only affect their lineup. This is a soft matchup for the Pacers. Nesmith scored 30.75 DKFP in Game 2 and 35 DKFP in Game 3. Nesmith also has multi-position eligibility (SG/SF). His availability at shooting guard and small forward — difficult positions to fill — on a four-game slate at DraftKings is very useful.

Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers vs. Milwaukee Bucks, $6,800 — Pacers-Bucks is the game. Turner is the pick. At this price, he’ll be one of the highest-owned players on Sunday’s slate. Two weeks ago, the Pacers were at risk of playing in the play-in game. Turner stepped up. He’s scored over 45 DKFP in four of the last seven games. The Bucks aren’t great defensively and take a big hit with Giannis Antetokounmpo out.
Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks, $10,500 — The 76ers’ Game 3 win featured Embiid in a villainous role. Gotham City was outraged. Twitter cried for a Flagrant 2. Embiid became a heel by grabbing a heel. That wasn’t his only crime. He dropped 69 DKFP on the Knicks and turned the series around. Embiid can single-handedly win this series.

PJ Washington, Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Clippers, $5,600 — The eighties are back. Washington is an enforcer. He’s Luka’s bodyguard. This NBA DFS pick isn’t a stroll down Narrative Street. It’s not a sprint. It’s an arm-folded pose in the middle of the street. Washington has scored over 25 DKFP in each game of this series. After his ejection on Friday, he’ll be fired up on Sunday.
