The 2024 NBA Playoffs continue with action from the first round Friday with a trio of Game 3s. The Suns are hoping to avoid going into a 3-0 hole when they host the Timberwolves, while the Clippers, Mavericks, Bucks and Pacers are all looking to gain an edge with their series tied at 1-1. Here’s a look at some of our favorite player props bets to target for the day’s action, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Pascal Siakam 30+ points vs. Bucks (+135)
Giannis Antetokounmpo is out once again, and Milwaukee simply hasn’t had an answer for Siakam through two games without the Greek Freak. The Pacers forward has combined for 73 points through two games, quietly logging 36 points in the blowout loss in Game 1 before dropping 37 in the Game 2 victory. You can take Siakam for 35+ points (+330) if you’re really feeling confident but I’ll allow for some natural regression and grab this alternate offering that still comes in at plus money.
Luka Doncic under 4.5 3-pointers vs. Clippers (+102)
Doncic has been chucking from behind the arc lately, averaging 14 attempts per game over the last six games of the regular season and logging 26 attempts through two playoff games. He shot 42.9% over the final six regular season games but is down to just 34.6% through two playoff contests. Surprisingly, Doncic actually shot about 3% worse from deep in home games this season and this line is high enough as it is. I’ll take the under tonight on this Doncic prop.
Devin Booker over 36.5 points + rebounds + assists vs. Timberwolves (-110)
When the Suns hosted the Nuggets last year in Game 3 after going down 2-0, Booker went for 47 points, nine assists and six rebounds in a crucial Phoenix victory. It’s a similar situation this time around but against a Timberwolves squad that drops off defensively on the road. Booker has been relatively quiet through the first two games of this series and it’s resulted in Phoenix being in a 2-0 hole. I think the young star breaks out tonight with a massive all-around effort. Take the over on his combined PRA.
