The NBA Playoffs are back in action Monday night!
Every series across the league has played its first game, so we’ve gotten a chance to see how these teams match up. The first battle between Philly and New York was about as ugly as you’d expect, with the Knicks pulling out a well-deserved win.
In this article, I’m going to break down my favorite NBA player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 2 of 76ers-Knicks. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Josh Hart Over 12.5 Points (-140)
The hero Thibs deserves, AND the one he needs.
It’s only right Josh Hart is doing this on the biggest stage in basketball. This guy is an absolute warrior.
Hart played 42 minutes in Game 1 — which has virtually become the new normal for him — and simply out-hustled everyone else on the floor. When it became clear down the stretch that hustle alone wasn’t going to cut it, he decided to take over offensively, hitting a pair of massive threes in the final two minutes and draining a couple of free throws to ice the game.
To be completely honest, I was hoping to write up Hart’s assists + rebounds combo prop, but it’s been inflated to a point where there’s a clear lack of value. So, I’ll pivot to his points prop, which still has plenty of upside at an alternate line of 12.5 at -140.
Hart racked up 22 on Saturday and has cleared this total with relative ease in four of his last five games. As for his usage rate, it has also unsurprisingly seen a considerate bump over that stretch. This type of grind-it-out series is what Hart was made for, and I’m expecting another strong performance from him in Game 2 at Madison Square Garden.
