There are four games on Sunday’s slate as the 2024 NBA Playoffs continue, with both No. 1 seeds in action along with the Clippers, Mavericks, Bucks and Pacers. Even though four games means limited options when it comes to rostering value plays, there are still some players who seem to be in line for a bigger role in this game.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Caleb Martin, Heat, $5,000
Martin comes in at the value line, and he’s set to have a big role with Jimmy Butler out for the Heat in Game 1. The forward broke out a year ago in the playoffs, specifically against the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals with 19.3 points per game on 60/49/88 shooting splits. While Martin is unlikely to duplicate those numbers, he should fare better Sunday after scoring just seven points in 25 minutes against Chicago. I’d back him at this price point in this afternoon’s contest.
Malik Beasley, Bucks, $4,400
The Bucks are going to need to make up some scoring with Giannis Antetokounmpo unlikely to play in Game 1, and Beasley could be the answer to take some of the pressure off Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton. The Bucks shooting guard carries some risk as he relies heavily on the triple falling to get his fantasy points, so there’s a chance he doesn’t fire here. The matchup is favorable though, with the Pacers ranking 23rd in fantasy points allowed to opposing shooting guards. I think Beasley is a strong add given his upside as a perimeter threat.
Terance Mann, Clippers, $4,000
The Clippers combo guard went for 36.5 fantasy points in the final game of the regular season, and is probably going to be a sizable part of the rotation in the playoffs. There’s a chance Kawhi Leonard doesn’t suit up in Game 1, which would lead to Mann having an even bigger role. The Mavericks have been playing well defensively of late, but they ranked 26th in fantasy points allowed to opposing guards during the regular season. I think Mann is worth adding to Sunday’s lineups as he returns to his usual workload after a few down games.
