The 2024 NBA playoffs are finally here and Saturday will bring us our first batch of first-round games in the playoff bracket. With four games on the docket, there’s plenty of opportunities to find good value plays for your lineups in DFS.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
OG Anunoby, Knicks, $5,000
Riding the value line is Anunoby, who will suit up for the Knicks in their Game 1 showdown with the 76ers. He’s averaged 27.4 fantasy points for DFS users throughout the year and has fit right into New York’s lineup since being acquired from the Raptors earlier in the year. He’s been solid since returning from an elbow injury this month, averaging 13 points and 3.0 rebounds in his last six games. He should play a key role in their Game 1 plans this evening, so I’d definitely grab him for my DFS lineup.
Jalen Suggs, Magic, $4,700
Suggs will be getting his first taste of playoff action as the Magic open their series against the Cavaliers. The third-year guard has been a nice DFS value play all season long with an average of 24.3 FP’s per game and a huge part of it can be attributed to his improvement as a three-point shooter. He’s shooting 39.7% from beyond the arc and averaged two treys a game throughout the regular season. He’s bound to bury a few in Game 1, so I’d definitely consider him for your lineup today.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Nuggets, $4,400
The Nuggets will open their first-round series against the Lakers tonight and KCP should play a big role in the starting lineup for the defending champions. The veteran guard averaged 10.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists throughout the regular season, providing an average of 20.7 FP’s per game for DFS users. He dropped 20 points in the only game he played against LA this season and given that there’s tons of familiarity between these two teams, it would not be a surprise to see him make a huge impact in this one. I’d take a flyer on him for your DFS lineup.
