Both the Diamondbacks and Giants start this series looking to gain some ground in the difficult NL West standings, which are led by the Dodgers and Padres. Arizona is seated third at 9-10 while San Francisco is fourth a 8-11.
The Giants have the edge on the mound with Logan Webb starting. Ryne Nelson is also coming off a strong outing for Arizona, yet the Giants are -142 home favorites.

While I don’t expect Webb to necessarily give up a lot of runs, I do like the over on his hits allowed prop at 6.5 (+115). The Diamondbacks saw the right-hander four times last season, so there’s a fair amount of familiarity. While Arizona isn’t hitting right-handed pitching particularly well this season (.215 average, .676 OPS), the D-Backs have the lowest strikeout rate in baseball (17%). That could lead to Webb going over his outs recorded prop (18.5), which has happened in back-to-back outings. But, I think the familiarity will also lead to more quality contact off Arizona’s bats.

Christian Walker is hitting for a better average against left-handed pitching than righties, but three of his four extra-base hits have come against right-handed pitching — all of which have been home runs. It’s been a while since Walker went deep, and Webb hasn’t given up a longball in a couple games. Both are due, so I like sprinkling Walker to go long at +800.
Outside of that, I like Michael Conforto to go over 1.5 hits+runs+RBIs (-115). He’s done that in 11 of 17 games, and he comes in riding a four-game hitting streak.
