Best NBA player prop bets to consider for Warriors vs. Kings in Tuesday’s play-in game

The 2024 NBA play-in tournament will tip off Tuesday and we’ll get the 9-10 game in the Western Conference as the Golden State Warriors will visit the Sacramento Kings at 10 p.m. ET. The winner will advance to face the 7-8 loser for the No. 8 seed on Friday, while the loser will be eliminated from the postseason.

There are plenty of opportunities to hit on player props courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook and we’ll go over some of our favorites for this elimination game below.

Jonathan Kuminga over 14.5 points (+102)

Kuminga will suit up for Golden State after dealing with multiple injuries in final two weeks of the regular season. The third-year forward made a major leap this season and is getting Most Improved Player consideration, averaging 16.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. As a starter, he should get increased minutes in this do-or-die game and his presence will be needed inside of the paint. He dropped 31 points the last time he went up against Domantas Sabonis and the Kings and while he probably won’t approach that number, I think he can easily blow past this point total for tonight’s contest.

De’Aaron Fox over 2.5 steals (+130)

Fox was able to average two steals a game for Sacramento this season and he will need to step up the defensive intensity even more tonight if he wants his team to keep its season alive. He averaged 2.1 steals against this same Warriors team in their first-round playoff series one year ago and with their season on the line, I’ll predict he gets at least three this evening.

Harrison Barnes over 4.5 rebounds (+140)

Barnes started all 82 games for Sacramento this season, but only averaged three rebounds per game. However, he was regularly pulling down 5-6 boards a game in the final two weeks of the campaign and that may have had to do with Kings starters being forced to take on more burdens with both Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk suffering late-season injuries. I’d imagine a veteran like Barnes may touch 35-40 minutes of action in a critical game like this one, so I think he can pull down at least five rebounds with ease.

Chris Paul under 0.5 threes (+160)

CP3 has been an effective veteran role player off the bench for the Warriors this season, logging just over 26 minutes a night while putting up 9.2 points and 6.8 assists per game. He’s also been good for a three or two a night, but in a high stakes game like this, the future Hall of Famer’s main priority will be setting other shooters up when he steps onto the floor. I’ll predict that he doesn’t make a triple this evening and take the under.
