Just as predicted, Scottie Scheffler will be on the precipice of winning his second green jacket with 18 holes to play at the 2024 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club on Sunday.
The 2022 Masters Champion leads by one shot at -7, fired a third round -1 71 on Saturday despite making a three bogeys and a double bogey during the round. But his next-level ball striking saved the day once again, including a flawless approach on No. 18 to make a birdie to get into red figures.
Two-time major winner Collin Morikawa (-6) is one stroke adrift, and checks in at +350 on the odds board. Max Homa (-5) is the third choice at +700, with first-time major participant and PGA TOUR University winner in Texas Tech alum Ludvig Aberg (-4) checking in at +900.
Scheffler entered the tournament as a +400 favorite to win it all at DraftKings Sportsbook, but that is down to -115 in live betting action after the round.
