There are just two more days of games left in the regular season, and both will feature all 30 teams in the NBA in action. With 15 games on Friday’s NBA schedule, there are overwhelming number of player props bettors can look at. We’re here to whittle that down to some of our favorite plays, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Joel Embiid over 41.5 points + rebounds vs. Magic (-115)
The 76ers big man is -205 to record a double-double, which he has done in the last two games. This line offers a bit more value. After being on a minutes restriction when he first came back to the lineup, Embiid logged 35 minutes in a win over the Pistons. He’s gone over this particular mark in each of the last two games, and this is a monumental contest for the 76ers given the standings in the Eastern Conference. I expect Embiid to once again have a large role with no minutes cap, which should push him over this line. In the previous meeting against Orlando, Embiid went for 36 points and seven rebounds.
Tyrese Haliburton over 9.5 assists vs. Cavaliers (-110)
Although Haliburton has been in a bit of a slump when it comes to distributing the ball, he did over this line in each of his three matchups against the Cavaliers this season. The Pacers point guard last went over this line three games ago, and has only hit the over twice in the last eight contests. I think this is a spot for him to get right, especially with Cleveland down a few rotation players in their lineup.
Anthony Davis over 13.5 rebounds vs. Grizzlies (-120)
The Lakers big man has actually gone under this mark in the two games he played against the Grizzlies this season but Memphis is completely in tank mode now. The Grizzlies rank 25th in opponent rebounds allowed since the All-Star break, and Davis is set to return to action after missing time with an eye injury he suffered Sunday. Look for him to get back to his dominance on the glass Friday in a favorable matchup. Davis has gone over this line in seven of his last 10 games.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander under 28.5 points vs. Bucks (-115)
When someone is averaging 30.4 points per game, taking the under on his scoring prop can seem a bit risky. However, Gilgeous-Alexander might not play as much in tonight’s contest. The Bucks are without Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard is considered doubtful and four rotation players have been listed as questionable. It’s very possible the Thunder absolutely smoke the Bucks quickly here, meaning the star point guard gets some important rest ahead of the postseason. I like SGA to go under on his points prop tonight.
Nikola Jokic under 7.5 assists vs. Spurs (+114)
Once again, this can seem risky for a player who routinely gets triple-doubles and is the focal point of the offense. However, Jokic has actually gone under this mark in each of the last two games against San Antonio. The Nuggets big man and MVP frontrunner is averaging 30.6 points per game over the last nine, and that scoring boom has led to a small decline in assists. Jokic has gone under this line four times in the last six games and I think he continues to be a scorer first in Friday’s matchup.
Stephen Curry over 4.5 3-pointers vs. Pelicans (-150)
Curry hit seven triples in the first meeting against New Orleans, but only three in the second thanks to that game behind a 36-point blowout loss. The Warriors are locked into the play-in tournament but can potentially get out of the single-elimination 9-10 game. Curry has gone over in this mark in the last three games and should have plenty of volume, which mitigates the impact of New Orleans’ league-best perimeter defense. Curry has always been an excellent shooter, and he’s hitting at a 39.3% clip on no rest this season. I think he continues to stay hot from behind the arc and goes over this mark Friday.
