The Miami Dolphins enter the 2024 NFL Playoffs as the No. 6 seed, going on the road in the AFC bracket to take on the No. 3 Kansas City Chiefs at 8 p.m. ET. The Dolphins go into this matchup with multiple injuries on both sides of the ball. The most notable of injuries is on offense with Tyreek Hill battling a few nagging ailments. Hill was able to play in Week 18 but was held back in a key game. WR Jaylen Waddle and RB Raheem Mostert are also dealing with injuries going into this spot.
2024 NFL Playoff injury report
Update ā Hill is officially active.
Tyreek Hill impact
As far as weāre concerned, Hill is going to play and isnāt expected to be held back much. The issue is the weather in Kansas City is going to unbelievably cold. That will make it tough for anyone dealing with any type of injury and increases the risk of re-injury. That isnāt to say you should be worried about Hill. He didnāt get an injury designation going into this contest despite dealing with ankle and quad injuries. So we can assume heās 100% and good to go.
NFL DFS analysis
Hill is still an interesting fantasy football play. Hill is $8,700 on DraftKings and that price point is very high. The issue with playing Hill on DK is his volatility. Hill could pop in this matchup; it isnāt like thereās snow or rain or anything. But with temps expected to be below 0 degrees, youād think itāll be tough catching the ball and tackles will hurt plenty. The wind could factor in as well. So Hill and the Dolphinsā passing game is risky to back in DFS this week.
