Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence missed Week 17 with a shoulder injury, but has returned to practice ahead of the Jags’s Week 18 matchup against the Titans. He is limited and considered day-to-day.
Backup CJ Beathard took over last week, going 17-for-24 for 178 yards to lead the Jags to a shutout win over the Panthers. The Jaguars are competing for the AFC South title this week.
Trevor Lawrence injury updates
Friday AM update: Head coach Doug Pederson said that Lawrence will be listed as questionable and is still considered day-to-day.
Lawrence sprained his right AC joint in Week 16 against the Buccaneers, and is practicing on a limited basis.
Fantasy football analysis
While most fantasy leagues are over, Lawrence’s return could still affect daily fantasy at DraftKings Sportsbook. His return would likely spell success for Jaguars receivers including Calvin Ridley, Evan Engram, and Christian Kirk. Last time the Jaguars faced the Titans this season, Ridley finished with over 100 yards and two TDs from Lawrence.
Betting analysis
Lawrence’s presence will certainly affect the game’s outcome, as well as his receivers’ yardage and touchdown props at DraftKings Sportsbook. However, it is still unclear whether he will be able to play this week.
