Top TE value plays for daily fantasy football in Week 14

We go over some of the best cheap options at TE for the main slate on DraftKings this Sunday.

We’ve got some interesting tight end plays for Week 14 of the NFL season. The Baltimore Ravens are off their bye and Isaiah Likely is back on the slate at a cheap price with Mark Andrews sidelined. There are also some injuries that should open up some value plays. We’ll go over the top values at tight end for the Week 14 main slate on DraftKings.

NFL DFS Picks, Week 14: TE value plays

Evan Engram, JAX vs. CLE, $4,800

We find ourselves gravitating toward this game for value plays, which doesn’t feel great given the weather and over/under (30.5 points). But there’s reason to like Engram under $5K. Christian Kirk is out, so that should mean more targets for Engram. After QB Trevor Lawrence was injured, backup C.J. Beathard targeted Engram four times. The TE hauled in all four catches to finish with nine, 82 yards and a score in Week 13 vs. the Bengals. Engram could end up being Beathard’s top target with Lawrence out. The weather and over/under could scare lineups off Engram, making him a decent tourney play.

Isaiah Likely, BAL vs. LAR, $3,500

The Ravens are off the bye and Likely is set to be the top TE for Baltimore again. In Weeks 11 and 12 with Andrews mostly out, Likely played at least 73% of the offensive snaps. He didn’t do much in Week 12 vs. the Chargers, finishing with four catches on six targets for 40 yards. But this is a good matchup vs. the Rams, who are allowing a healthy amount of points to tight ends this season. It also doesn’t appear many lineups will be on Likely this week with more appealing TE plays. He feels like a good GPP option.

Brevin Jordan, HOU vs. NYJ, $3,100

If TE Dalton Schultz is sidelined again in Week 14, we should see Jordan be super chalky on the main slate. Last week with Schultz out, Jordan had three catches on four targets for 64 yards. Jordan played 75% of the offensive snaps and would be in line for a healthy amount of playing time again. The Jets are a good matchup given where they stand in the AFC. We also know QB Zach Wilson is going to be back starting at QB, so a few turnovers should set the Texans up for good field position. It won’t take a lot for Jordan to return value if Schultz is out. Schultz is also just $5K, so if he’s active and 100%, that’s not a bad idea either.
