The Cleveland Browns defeated the Houston Texans in Week 16, 36-22. This win puts the Browns at 10-5 and places them in the top Wild Card spot in the AFC. NFL.com gives them a 99% chance of reaching the playoffs after their Week 16 victory.
With the loss, the Texans fall to 8-7 and remain just outside the bubble. They are still ahead of the Steelers and the Bengals, but as things stand, they do not currently hold a Wild Card berth.
The Browns could still overtake the Ravens in the AFC North if the Ravens lose this week. The Texans still have a shot at the AFC South, particularly if the Jaguars lose to the Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon. If the Jaguars lose, three teams in the AFC South will sit in an 8-7 tie.
The Browns finish out the season with matchups against the Jets and Bengals, and the Texans will still face the Titans and the Colts.
