Update, Monday afternoon: Keaton Mitchell tore his ACL in Week 15 and is done for the remainder of the 2023 season.

Keaton Mitchell exited in the fourth quarter of Week 14 vs. the Jaguars due to a knee injury on Sunday Night Football. Mitchell rushed for a 13 yard gain, but was injured on the tackle. He is now being carted off the field. Mitchell gave a thumbs up to the crowd as he left with the Ravens leading 17-7.

Justice Hill and Gus Edwards will take in Mitchell’s work while he is out.

Keaton Mitchell injury updates

Post-game update: Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that Keaton Mitchell suffered a serious knee injury and is likely done for the season, per Jeff Zrebiec. Harbaugh says they will bring up RB Melvin Gordon from the practice squad to replace Mitchell.

Update: Mitchell has already been ruled out for the rest of the game. That is not a great sign, but neither was the injury, which NBC declined to show a replay.

Fantasy football impact

At this point it doesn’t look very good for Mitchell to return soon. If he misses, Gus Edwards likely gets the biggest boost, as he’s been finding the end zone this season, but Justice Hill would also get a fantasy boost. Unfortunately, the Ravens meet up with the 49ers in San Francisco next Monday night. That will be a tough matchup for the run game.
