With just three games on Sunday’s main NBA slate, finding bargain plays for DFS lineups will be a bit of a challenge. That doesn’t mean you can’t lock in some excellent performers at a low price point. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Jordan Goodwin, Suns, $5,000
Goodwin managed 20.3 DKFP in 23 minutes against the Knicks after Bradley Beal was hurt, a sign he’s going to be in the rotation as long as the shooting guard remains sidelined. That’ll be the case again Sunday. Goodwin has usually delivered solid outings when getting 30+ minutes, and the Wizards are a great matchup. Washington ranks 29th in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards.
Kris Murray, Trail Blazers, $3,600
After not seeing much time during the beginning of the season, Murray has come on a bit in the last few contests. He’s averaging 18.8 DKFP per game over the last three, which is way up from his season average of 7.8 DKFP per game. The Warriors do present a tough matchup for the Blazers rookie, but Golden State is on the second night of a back-to-back set. At this price point, it’s worth backing Murray’s recent form.
Corey Kispert, Wizards, $4,800
Washington’s combo forward has been a solid proposition this year, averaging 18.4 DKFP per game. He went for 30.8 DKFP against the Pacers Thursday, breaking a three-game stretch of sub-20 DKFP showings. The Suns are a league-average team when it comes to fantasy points allowed to forwards, and Kispert has more upside than most value plays on this slate due to his ability to hit the triple.
