NFL Week 15 TNF Best Bets: Picks, Predictions to Consider for Chargers vs. Raiders on DraftKings Sportsbook

It’s a really tough TNF matchup to handicap here, with a pair of AFC West squads not only operating with backup quarterbacks, but also down several other key pieces across the field. I’ll likely save my bankroll for the weekend, but there is one prop on my radar that I’m considering.

Let’s take a look at a betting angle on DraftKings Sportsbook that I like for this ugly AFC matchup.

Austin Ekeler OVER 29.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

It’s been a tough season for Ekeler, potentially never recovering from a Week 1 injury. After ripping off 117 rushing yards in Week 1 against Miami, Ekeler has never really found his side again as a rusher.

However, he’s maintained his abilities as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, topping 30 receiving yards in six of his 10 games. That includes going over in two of his last three — most notably last week, hauling in five of seven targets for 49 yards. Last week is notable because that’s when Justin Herbert went down, handing the reins over to Easton Stick.

Not only will Ekeler operate as the safety blanket for Stick in his first road start of the season, but Keenan Allen’s absence takes away a go-to-guy in the passing game. While the downfield pass-catchers may have some value in the prop market, I feel Ekeler should see a nice boost in targets this week, helping him climb over a pretty modest receiving prop.
