Best NBA player prop bets to consider for Wednesday’s games

We’ve got seven games on Wednesday’s NBA slate after the conclusion of the In-Season Tournament group stage Tuesday. Here’s a look at our favorite player props for the day’s action, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

LeBron James under 24.5 points vs. Pistons (-110)

King James has actually been in a bit of a scoring slump lately. The Lakers forward is averaging 20.8 points per game over the last four contests, going under this line three times. Even though he’ll want to shake off a blowout loss against the 76ers with a strong performance against a weak opponent, the Lakers might call the dogs off late in what should be a blowout. That might prevent James, who is already looking to facilitate more, from going over this mark.

Tyrese Maxey over 6.5 assists vs. Pelicans (+120)

The Sixers point guard has gone over this total in four the last six games, with one under coming at six assists. Maxey has been a star for Philadelphia since the departure of James Harden, and he should continue to have success distributing the ball against New Orleans. The Pelicans rank 23rd in opponent assists allowed per game.

Franz Wagner over 5.5 rebounds vs. Wizards (+100)

This is one of the better value props for the day. Wagner has gone over this mark in each of the last two games, and now gets to face a Wizards team that allows the most rebounds to opponents by a significant margin. The Magic have become a playoff contender this season, in large part due to Wagner’s contributions. Look for him to top this line in a favorable matchup.
