Tiger Woods returns to the course this week as he hosts the Hero World Challenge at Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas. Woods has not played since he withdrew from the Masters in April and underwent surgery on his ankle to repair post-traumatic arthritis. This week, he will join some of the brightest stars in the sport at his annual tournament. The tournament’s proceeds go toward the Tiger Woods Foundation.
One of Woods’ competitors this week is Viktor Hovland, who has now claimed the last two Hero World Challenge titles. Hovland has bested runner-up Scottie Scheffler in two consecutive years — winning by one stroke in 2021 and two in 2022. Can Hovland three-peat as he goes up against this star-studded field?
Hovland enters as the favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook at +400, with Scheffler behind at +450. Max Homa and Collin Morikawa follow at +800 apiece, and Justin Thomas is installed at +1600. Woods himself sits at the bottom of the odds board at +7000.
