We’ve got eight games on Tuesday’s NBA slate for the final group stage games in the In-Season Tournament. Here’s a look at the day’s injury report, along with the relevant fantasy and betting implications.
NBA Injury Report: November 28
Bulls vs. Celtics
Alex Caruso (toe) – available
Zach LaVine (foot) – available
Update: Both players are in for Chicago.
Even though both players are listed as questionable, expect them to suit up as they’ve played through these issues for a bit now.
Jrue Holiday (ankle) – available
Kristaps Porzingis (calf) – OUT, expected to miss at last one week
Derrick White (illness) – available
Update: Holiday is in and will not have a minutes limit, so he’s good to fire up in DFS lineups. White is also available, as expected.
If Holiday sits, White and Payton Pritchard would be the top point guard options for Boston. Al Horford is likely to get the start here with Porzingis out for at least a week.
Raptors vs. Nets
Nic Claxton (ankle) – available
Cam Johnson (leg) – available
Cam Thomas (ankle) – OUT
Update: Claxton is in, while Johnson was present at shootaround and should play. Thomas has been formally ruled out.
Thomas is progressing towards a return but likely sits out. If Claxton were to sit this one out, Day’Ron Sharpe would be in line for more minutes and becomes a solid value add to DFS lineups.
Hawks vs. Cavaliers
Jalen Johnson (wrist) – OUT, expected to miss at least a month
This is a rough break for Atlanta’s rising win, who is off to an excellent start this year. Johnson’s absence means more playing time for De’Andre Hunter and Saddiq Bey.
Bucks vs. Heat
Khris Middleton (Achilles) – available
Update: Middleton is suiting up for this game, although Beasley is still a good add given a potential minutes restriction for the veteran. Connaughton should also see decent run but Beasley is the better DFS add.
Given the stakes in the In-Season Tournament, Middleton might end up pushing to play this game. However, the Bucks have grander plans and could opt to sit him. If he does sit, Pat Connaughton and Malik Beasley would be in line for more playing time.
Jimmy Butler (ankle) – OUT
Duncan Robinson (thumb) – available
Bam Adebayo (hip) – available
Update: Butler has been formally ruled out, which means big minutes for Richardson and Martin in this game.
Adebayo and Robinson should be in. If Butler doesn’t suit up, Josh Richardson and Caleb Martin will have more of a role in Miami’s offense.
Hornets vs. Knicks
LaMelo Ball (ankle) – OUT
James Bouknight (knee) – available
Update: As expected, Ball is out. Bouknight will get some run in the backcourt, as the young guard was upgraded for tonight’s game. He’s a potential value add to DFS lineups.
Ball was off to a great start this season and will likely miss this game with the injury he suffered Sunday. Look for Terry Rozier to take over as the lead point guard, with P.J. Washington and Brandon Miller seeing more shots in this Charlotte offense.
Thunder vs. Timberwolves
Jalen Williams (hip) – available
Oklahoma City’s power forward is back, and will take away from production from Chet Holmgren.
Jaden McDaniels (ankle) – OUT
McDaniels remains out for Minnesota. Look for Kyle Anderson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to continue absorbing those extra minutes.
Rockets vs. Mavericks
Fred VanVleet (thumb) – available
Jae’Sean Tate (knee) – available
Dillon Brooks (groin) – available
Tari Eason (leg) – available
Everyone should be in for Houston.
Dereck Lively (back) – available
Luka Doncic (thumb) – available
Update: Lively is in for Dallas.
Doncic has been cleared to play, and he’s not on the official injury report. If Lively sits, look for Dwight Powell to get the start for the Mavericks.
Warriors vs. Kings
Keegan Murray (back) – OUT
Update: As expected, Murray has been ruled out for this game.
With Murray set to miss another contest, Harrison Barnes and Kevin Huerter gain some value as role players for Sacramento.
