The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Week 13 for Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 25. Georgia has won the last five meetings between the two schools. The Bulldogs have already clinched a trip to the SEC Championship Game.
Georgia (11-0, 8-0 SEC) has yet to lose a game this season, and are looking ahead to a shot at a third straight national title. The Bulldogs have defeated three straight ranked opponents in their last three games — Mizzou, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. In their 38-10 win over the Vols, quarterback Carson Beck passed for 298 yards and three touchdowns, and running back Kendall Milton added 66 yards and a score on the ground.
Georgia Tech (6-5, 5-3 ACC) has had quite the interesting season in the ACC. They handed Miami their first loss of the season and UNC their second loss, but lost to Bowling Green and Boston College. This is an unpredictable team, but they often seem to be able to play up to their opponent’s level (although, they were unable to do that in their most recent loss to Clemson). Also, Kirby Smart may use this opportunity to give Ladd McConkey and Brock Bowers some rest ahead of the SEC Championship, making the Georgia offense less threatening.
