Logan Thomas start or sit: Week 11 fantasy football advice

The Washington Commanders and New York Giants are set for a NFC East showdown in Week 11. In their first meeting, the Giants’ defense limited the Commanders to just one touchdown. Sam Howell and the offense struggled to score, but TE Logan Thomas had a decent showing in the contest. Is the nine-year veteran worth a fantasy start in this week’s rematch?

Fantasy Football analysis: Commanders TE Logan Thomas

Thomas had five catches on 5 targets for 40 yards in Week 10. He has proven to be a nice short pass option for Howell. On the year Thomas has caught 38 receptions for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Start or sit in Week 11 PPR leagues?

START. Thomas was productive in his first meeting against the Giants, reeling in 4 catches for 51 yards. While New York has been stout against TEs overall, they did allow Jake Ferguson to find the end zone last week. Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy will look to get Thomas involved against an injury-riddled Giants defense.

Start or sit in Week 11 standard leagues?

START. While his numbers aren’t mind-blowing, Thomas has been one of the more consistent fantasy TEs. Over the last four games, he has four catches or more in each while getting 5 or more targets from Howell. Given the Cowboys‘ lethal air attack in Week 10 against this Giants’ defense, I’d feel comfortable giving Thomas a start this week.

Player(s) you would start ahead of Logan Thomas

Week after week Dalton Schultz has continued to ascend and C.J. Stroud almost puts him into the must-start category. Coming off six catches for 71 yards, expect him to keep it going against the Arizona Cardinals.
