The Tennessee Titans (3-6) will pay a visit to the Jacksonville Jaguars (6-3) in Week 11 action Sunday afternoon with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET. The Titans are coming off a rough 20-6 loss to the Buccaneers in Week 10 as Kyle Philips saw a handful of targets on the day. Let’s have a look at Philips’ fantasy outlook ahead of the Week 11 matchup.
Fantasy Football analysis: Titans WR Kyle Philips
Philips caught 3-of-5 targets for 61 yards in the loss in Tampa Bay as he’s still searching for his first touchdown of the season. It was his second game in a row bringing in over 60 yards and he led the team in receiving yards, though his fantasy output only brought in 9.1 points in PPR leagues. He’s been finding some good chemistry with rookie QB Will Levis since he took over under center though, so he’ll look to put in some more solid performances going forward.
Start or sit in Week 11 PPR leagues?
Sit. Philips’ fantasy output in PPR leagues isn’t enough to rely on yet to warrant a starting spot in your lineup, so you might want to keep him on the bench this week. It’s worth keeping an eye on his performance week in and week out, though, because even though he’s behind Treylon Burks on the depth chart, Levis clearly loves throwing to him so he could prove to be a valuable fantasy asset over the coming weeks.
Start or sit in Week 11 standard leagues?
Sit. Even in deeper leagues he may not be worth a start. Philips finished as the WR38 last week in standard scoring, leaving plenty of other options on waivers ahead of Week 11 that should bring in more consistent scores.
Player(s) you would start ahead of Kyle Philips
Philips is listed as the WR64 at FantasyPros in the Week 11 PPR rankings, making him essentially a non-starter in all leagues. Justin Jefferson is the WR58, but of course, he’s making his big return this week and likely isn’t available in any leagues anywhere. I would start Robert Woods over Philips this week, as he’s the WR60 and has a favorable matchup against the Cardinals and is slowly making his return from injury.
