He’s coming of a matchup with the Carolina Panthers where he had 21 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown while also adding two receptions for 12 yards. Herbert has 51 carries for 272 yards and also 10 receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown. He’s played in just five games this season.

Start Herbert. Sit Foreman. What Herbert was doing prior to the injury was impressive and wasn’t being talked about enough. The Lions are allowing 20.9 points per game to running backs which is the 10th most in the NFL. Herbert also poses a strong threat in the PPR leagues.
Start or sit in Week 11 standard leagues?
Start Herbert. Sit Foreman. Herbert is still a good start in standard leagues. In his last two games before going to the IR, Herbert had 75+ rushing yards in both. Foreman was the bell cow with Herbert out, but he will take a step back as Herbert returns. Watch for Herbert to get into the end zone in his return from the IR as well. The Lions are allowing the 5th most rushing touchdowns to running backs in the NFL at almost two per game.

Foreman is the No. 37 running back and Herbert is the No. 36 running back in FantasyPros rankings. I would stay away from Foreman, but Herbert is the guy to play. A few running backs ranked around him that I would start over Herbert are Antonio Gibson and Kareem Hunt. Gibson looks like his role is increasing in the passing game and Hunt has played a strong role for the Browns and should continue with Deshaun Watson out for the season.
