The Dallas Mavericks will be back in action Saturday when they face the Milwaukee Bucks in a showdown of two teams hoping to be in the championship mix by the end of the season. Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving did not play Wednesday against the Wizards due to a foot injury. Here’s the latest on his status for Saturday’s contest.
Kyrie Irving injury updates
Irving is not on the official injury report and head coach Jason Kidd did say he would play in this contest, so it’s safe to assume he’s going to suit up. It looks like the Mavericks will list Irving with a foot injury on back-to-back sets as part of some load management program.
With Irving back in the mix, Luka Doncic will lose some value in fantasy formats but remains a strong star option. Grant Williams and Tim Hardaway Jr. go down a few notches too, although Williams has been an excellent perimeter threat to start the season and could be a good value play.
