The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs take on the No. 13 Tennessee Volunteers in an SEC matchup in Week 12. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET from Neyland Stadium. Georgia has already clinched a trip to the SEC Championship, but will need to keep winning in order to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
Georgia (10-0, 7-0 SEC) keeps on winning, now securely on the path to Atlanta for the conference title game in December. Their latest victory was a dominant 52-17 rout of Ole Miss, during which the Dawgs looked arguably better than they have all season. Quarterback Carson Beck had his favorite target return in tight end Brock Bowers, and passed for 306 yards and two touchdowns. RBs Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards added two TDs apiece on the ground.
Tennessee (7-3, 3-3 SEC) had a tough time of it against Mizzou last week, losing 36-7 on the road. The Vols struggled to get much of a ground game going, and could not stop Mizzou running back Cody Schrader, who finished the day with over 300 all-purpose yards. Quarterback Joe Milton passed for 267 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

After the way Tennessee played last week, this may seem crazy, but the Vols come home for this game, and I think they’re going to outperform themselves on the national stage. The Vols have not yet lost at home this season, and while I don’t think they can beat the Bulldogs here, I also don’t think that this Georgia team is consistent enough to reproduce those Ole Miss results from last week.
