Rutgers pulls off a fumblerooski against Ohio State for their first score [VIDEO]

If you’re unfamiliar with the play, it’s designed so that the quarterback intentionally “fumbles” the ball, and usually its the left or right guard that picks it up and starts rumbling, bumbling, and stumbling down the field to pick up the first down as the defense dives at the loose pigskin. But in this case it was RU’s starting running back Kyle Monangai making the long carry nearly to paydirt. The Scarlet Knights closed as 18.5-point underdogs at DraftKings Sportsbook, so there’s no better time to do everything you can to win the game.

This drive led to a field goal that made it 7-3 Ohio State midway through the second quarter, and Rutgers added another kick again before halftime to make it 7-6. Could we see a massive upset in Piscataway?

Probably not. But if it does happen this could be a huge momentum shift in New Jersey.
