NBA DFS value plays $5K or under for Saturday, November 4

We’ve got eight games on Saturday’s NBA slate, but only seven are part of the main DFS slate for us to target when it comes to value plays. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.

In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.

Christian Braun, Nuggets, $4,700

On the second night of a back-to-back set, the Nuggets might opt to manage the workload of several starters. That elevates Braun in the rotation, and the second-year player has been good. He’s averaging 21.5 DKFP per game, topping 23 DKFP in three of the last four games. The Bulls are an excellent matchup, ranking 19th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wings. Chicago is also on the road on the second night of a back-to-back set in the Denver altitude, so this is a spot where Braun should thrive.

Jordan Hawkins, Pelicans, $4,900

The UConn product had a rough go in his last game, but he topped 27 DKFP in the previous two encounters where he got heavy minutes. With Brandon Ingram still listed as questionable, Hawkins is in line for a lot of playing time. The Hawks present a good opportunity for him to get right, as they rank 20th in fantasy points allowed to opposing shooting guards.

Davion Mitchell, Kings, $4,800

De’Aaron Fox is listed as out once again with an ankle injury, so Mitchell is likely to get the start against the Rockets Saturday. The point guard put up 29.3 DKFP in the last contest where he got the start, so there’s good potential here for the price point. Houston ranks 22nd in points allowed per game, so the Kings should have a field day offensively.
