They leaned on the run game in the win, and the defense stepped up in a big way, grabbing three interceptions from quarterback Dylan Hopkins and containing RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt. Quarterback Brendon Lewis passed for 92 yards and rushed for 64 in the win. Nevada also has a conference win over San Diego State.
