Jordan Addison went off in Justin Jefferson’s place on Monday night, recording 24.3 on Monday night to pace all wide receivers in Week 7. Here’s a look at three wide receivers who have strong matchups in Week 8.
Fantasy football, Week 8: Best WR Matchups
AJ Brown vs. Commanders
Brown had the second-best week among wide receivers in Week 7, recording 137 yards receiving with a touchdown against the Dolphins. This week he gets a matchup against a Commanders that’s allowed more than 1,700 yards and 14 touchdowns through the air. Brown’s recorded 247 yards receiving in his three career games against the Commanders, and should add to that total on Sunday.
Tyreek Hill vs. Patriots
Hill’s off to a historic start this season, so it makes sense to keep rolling with him. The Patriots passing defense is middle-of-the-pack, but they’ve allowed eight touchdowns through the air and have only forced three interceptions. Hill had a big game (88 yards and a touchdown) against the Eagles’ defense and should continue to produce against the Pats.
Rashee Rice vs. Broncos
Rice is quickly becoming WR1 in Kansas City and gets a matchup against a Broncos defense that’s allowed more than 1,800 yards through the air. He had 72 yards receiving against the Broncos earlier this season and is coming off a game where he had 60 yards a touchdown against the Chargers, so the volume is there for him to have a big game against a team with a leaky pass defense.
