While there are no teams on a bye during Week 8, there’s always a chance to improve your tight end depth. Here’s a look a look at some streamer options to consider this week at the notoriously top-heavy tight end spot.
Fantasy football TE streamers for Week 8
Logan Thomas, Commanders vs. Eagles
Rostership: Yahoo 44%, ESPN 37%
Another week, another chance for us to tell you to scoop up Thomas. The Commanders struggled to get anything going against the Giants last week but Thomas still found a way to get 9.1 PPR points (which was TE12-worthy). Now the Commanders are going against an Eagles team that he recorded 41 yards on three catches against earlier this week.
Dalton Kincaid, Bills vs. Buccaneers
Rostership: Yahoo 42%, ESPN 32%
Kincaid’s stock continued its rise last week, as he had eight receptions for 75 yards (both team leads) against the Patriots last week. He was limited by a concussion earlier this year, but seems to be back to his old self, and is a borderline TE1 heading into this week.
Trey McBridge, Cardinals vs. Ravens
Rostership: Yahoo 2%, ESPN 1%
McBride has moved ahead of Zach Ertz on the Cardinals’ depth chart, and is beginning to look like a star on a struggling Cardinals offense. He’s put together two straight weeks as a top-20 tight end (he was 4/62 in Week 6 and 3/29 in Week 7) and seems to be building a rapport with Josh Dobbs. While his value will be a little depressed so long as the Cardinals continue to cycle through all three of their tight ends, he’s looked good in stints.
