This is Team USA’s ninth world championship in the 4×100 and the country’s first since 2019. It is also just the third time that both the United States’ men’s and women’s 4x100m relay teams have taken gold in the same year. Noah Lyles finished it off for the team and captured his third gold medal at this year’s World Championships. The 26-year-old from Alexandria, VA, shined all week long in Budapest and will have the opportunity to once again dazzle on the world stage at the 2024 Olympics in Paris next summer.
