The Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles will face off in the first game of Week 2 in the preseason. This is the second game for the Eagles and the third for the Browns as they also played in the NFL Hall of Fame Game. Kickoff from Lincoln Financial Field is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and will air on NFL Network.

This week, the Browns lost to the Washington Commanders 17-15. They played a number of starters including Deshaun Watson. The starters struggled for Cleveland as the Browns scored just two points in the first quarter and it was a safety forced by the defense. They outscored the Commanders 13-3 in the second half, but it wasn’t enough.
Which Browns will play, expected inactives
DeShaun Watson will not play on Thursday night. Dorian Thompson-Robinson gets the starting nod. Cleveland also elects to rest several starters.

Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are coming off a 20-19 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in their first preseason game. Quarterback Jalen Hurts didnāt play and was replaced by a combination of Tanner McKee, Marcus Mariota and Ian Book. McKee finished with the best stat line going 10 of 20 for 148 yards through he air. Rashad Penny and DāAndre Swift both played while Kenneth Gainwell had the game off.

Hurts is off again on Thursday night but was on the field pregame hyping up his teammates.
