Status of all FBS college football stadiums for attendance at home games in 2020

What teams will have fans in the stands for the 2020 college football season, and how many will be allowed? We answer all those questions here.

What will the 2020 college football season look like from the stands? In all cases, a lot emptier. But how empty? And will there be any fans allowed to cheer on their teams during games at home or on the road?

Below is a list of the attendance status of all FBS college football programs for the 2020 season. We’ll keep this updated as we see changes and more information from schools, but if one slips past us occasionally you’ll understand why as the new data is coming fast and furious. We’ve included a link where we can find one so you can see where we found the information.

There are four conferences that aren’t playing college football as they had originally planned this season: The Big Ten, Pac-12, Mid-American, and Mountain West. All four of those leagues are hoping to start play later in 2020 or sometime in 2021, though their seasons will be truncated.

Old Dominion of Conference USA has also opted out of this season as a team, as have independents Connecticut, UMass, and New Mexico State.

Here is our updated list of college football attendance policies across FBS college football for the 2020 season:
