Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III has suffered an oblique injury in the team’s Week 11 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. He has been ruled doubtful to return.
Kenneth Walker III injury updates
Update: Walker suffered a “legit” oblique strain according to head coach Pete Carroll. There’s a good chance he misses “some time,” per Adam Schefter. ” With their Thanksgiving game against the 49ers coming on Thursday, it seems almost certain he’ll miss that matchup.
Update: Walker suffered the injury off a run early in the first quarter. He came limping to the sidelines and was seen entering the blue medical tent for further evaluation. The running back returned to the sideline and it was initially thought that he would be fine to come back into the game. However, the doubtful designation came shortly afterwards.

This is a tough early blow for the Seahawks, who are trying to pick up a division win this afternoon and maintain their spot at the top of the NFC North standings. The second-year tailback had four carries for 18 yards prior to his exit. With his doubtful status, rookie Zach Charbonnet will be the primary ballcarrier for Seattle for the rest of the afternoon.
