The Trolley problem has confounded the best of minds throughout history: Do you sacrifice one to save many?
Season 1 of The Last of Us gave us an answer. And least for one person. Joel (Pedro Pascal) chose the one, as he saved Ellie (Bella Ramsey) from an operation that could have potentially provided a cure from a fungal infection that caused a global pandemic and transformed humans into zombie-like creatures.
Now we get to see if the decision was the right one.
Season 2 will be upon us soon, as production started in the spring of this year and will premiere sometime in 2025.
The Last of Us was based on the Naughty Dog video game of the same name and has been called one of the best tv adaptations of a video game ever. It won eight Primetime Emmy Awards and averaged 32 million viewers per episode. That is around the same number of viewers for Game of Thrones.
